C-Suite Hiring – How Sweet It Is!

The stats are in on c-suite hiring and it’s good news for healthcare executives!!

To better understand where hospitals source their c-suite talent, Billian’s HealthDATA and Porter Research analyzed 384 executive moves documented in the Vitals Newsletter from January to July of 2014 and uncovered ten hospital hiring trends.

The survey’s highlighted conclusions:  60% of c-suite positions were filled externally, with more than half of all placements being CEOs.  17% of COO hires were formerly CNOs.  But the best news yet for hospital executives is that c-suite placement is up a whopping 37% from the same period last year!
