QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

- Minimum of eight years in mammography procedures, with at least five years in management.

Certifications

- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Mammography (M)

- Medical Radiological Technologist (MRT)

- Current CPR Certification

Education

- Associate’s degree in Applied Sciences in Radiology required; Master’s degree in a related field preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Management: Plan, organize, and direct the operations of the Mammography Department. Develop and implement goals, policies, and procedures.
Staff Supervision: Select, train, and supervise clinical, technical, and clerical staff, providing support to higher-level management.
Budgeting: Assist in preparing and maintaining departmental budgets.
Regulatory Compliance: Oversee the mammography regulatory compliance program.
Quality Improvement: Lead the development and monitoring of systems to improve patient care quality.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Medical Director of Mammography and the Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services to achieve departmental goals.
