OVERVIEW

The Director of Cardiovascular Services is responsible for the leadership and oversight of all business operations and processes related to the Cardiovascular Services departments. This includes staffing, budgeting, productivity, program development, physician relationships, and strategic planning for service line growth. The role involves managing a team of direct reports and fostering communication and collaboration.

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree required.

Minimum of 5 years of recent leadership experience in a clinical-hospital setting.

National specialty certification and/or national certification in Nursing Leadership preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee business operations, including staffing, budget, and productivity.

Develop and grow programs and services within Cardiovascular Services.

Build and maintain strong physician relationships.

Lead strategic planning and service line growth initiatives.

Provide leadership through effective communication and relationship-building.

Manage direct reports, including managers and navigators across multiple cardiovascular functions.
