COMPANY DESCRIPTION

A not-for-profit 80-bed acute care hospital located in Elkins, WV. Provides a range of acute inpatient, outpatient, surgery, emergency, and physician specialties. Recently expanded with a new 75,000 sq. ft. addition to streamline access to ancillary and physician services.

OVERVIEW

The Director of Operations - Revenue Cycle is responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle, including intake/admissions, insurance verification, billing, collections, cash posting, and regulatory compliance. The role also involves general managerial oversight, budget management, inventory control, and serving as a backup for the Executive Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or significant progress toward one.

Management experience in business and revenue functions, preferably in healthcare.
Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency in financial management and budgeting

Strong oral and written communication skills and effective management of others.

Valid Driver’s License required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee all functions of the revenue cycle from order entry to payment.

Manage intake/admissions, insurance verification, billing, accounts receivable, collections, and cash/adjustment posting.

Ensure regulatory compliance.

Provide managerial oversight and assist with product procurement, budget management, and inventory control.

Conduct special projects and research.

Oversee Fairmont Home Medical business operations.

Serve as acting Executive Director when required.
