OVERVIEW

The Communications & Grants Manager will lead grant strategies and communication efforts, showcasing Beit Ruth’s impact. This position focuses on donor and foundation engagement, revenue generation, and managing print and digital communication. The role involves collaborating with teams in the U.S. and Israel to amplify Beit Ruth’s visibility and support its programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • Demonstrated success in grant writing, grants management, and communications.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with an emphasis on storytelling.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Familiarity with donor management databases.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience in a collaborative team environment, with the ability to work independently.
  • Passion for social justice and Beit Ruth’s mission.
  • Familiarity with Israel and the Jewish philanthropic community.
Desired:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Familiarity with tools like Constant Contact, Canva, and Squarespace.
  • Strategic thinking and enthusiasm for international grant writing and communications.
  • Strong interpersonal and active listening skills for engaging with cross-cultural teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and manage foundation and grant strategies, identifying opportunities and strengthening relationships.
  • Collaborate with U.S. and Israel-based leadership to grow revenue streams.
  • Oversee grant processes, including LOIs, proposals, reports, and financials.
  • Manage digital and print communications, including appeals, newsletters, reports, social media, and event materials.
  • Secure media opportunities to amplify Beit Ruth’s visibility.
  • Act as a liaison between U.S. and Israel teams for aligned messaging.
  • Steward relationships with institutional partners and support special programs.
