WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time, with flexibility for some evenings, weekends, and early mornings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising or development, preferably in social services or healthcare
  • Experience with fundraising databases (preferably Raiser’s Edge)
  • Proven track record of securing gifts from corporations, foundations, and individuals
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with South Florida’s philanthropic community
  • CFRE certification (preferred)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 150 donors and prospects, securing contributions between $1,000 and $50,000.
  • Achieve an annual fundraising goal of $500,000+ through at least 100 personal donor contacts annually.
  • Oversee affinity group initiatives, supporting volunteers and committees in outreach and fundraising efforts.
  • Plan and coordinate major fundraising and stewardship events.
  • Develop donor engagement strategies, maintain accurate donor records, and provide stewardship to build long-term relationships.
