OVERVIEW
The Youth Care Worker supervises and engages with children in care, ensuring safety and adherence to program rules. The role includes behavior management, therapeutic support, transportation, and assisting children with daily routines and tasks.
WORK SCHEDULE
Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in the child welfare field preferred.
Ability to converse in both English and Spanish.

Valid driver’s license as per agency guidelines.
Ability to work with diverse populations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide positive reinforcement and behavior management based on approved strategies.
Maintain a therapeutic environment conducive to treatment goals.
Implement daily schedules, including routines, group activities, and personal hygiene instruction.
Plan meals and ensure youth involvement during meal times.
Follow protocols, review logs, and provide accurate documentation.
Transport youth for various needs and conduct searches when necessary.
