OVERVIEW

Israel Bonds is a premier global organization offering securities issued by the Government of Israel, with over $43 billion in bond sales since 1951. Israel Bonds continues to lead efforts in securing funding for the development of Israel's economy, selling approximately $1 billion annually in bonds within the domestic market.
The Executive Director is responsible for achieving individual sales goals, managing local campaign programs and operations, and overseeing an additional branch office. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and high-level sales responsibilities, reporting directly to the Vice President of National Sales.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a graduate degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of sales or nonprofit fundraising and management experience.
  • FINRA licensing required: SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 (training and materials provided).
  • Expertise in campaign development, event management, and board leadership.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and Salesforce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop an annual business plan to achieve sales targets and execute activities across the region.
  • Identify key local markets for communal and individual sales efforts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for institutional, corporate, and high-end sales.
  • Supervise professional and administrative staff, including hiring, firing, and performance evaluations.
  • Plan, implement, and manage the region’s overall campaign strategy.
  • Oversee the regional budget and major event planning and execution.
  • Select and coordinate guest speakers and honorees for events in collaboration with the Business Development team.
  • Manage solicitations for new bond purchases, reinvestments, and repeat sales.
  • Maintain strong relationships with significant institutional customers and community leaders.
  • Conduct detailed customer analysis to ensure bond recommendations meet clients' needs.
  • Monitor and report on local sales events, working closely with the National Sales Office.
  • Act as liaison with national departments and assist with policy implementation.
  • Oversee public relations and advertising content such as press releases, speeches, and invitations.
  • Organize and manage National Leadership events and delegations to Israel.
