QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
4+ years of civil engineering experience.
Supervisory experience.
CA Professional Engineer license (or within 6 months).
Valid CA driver’s license.

Proficiency in project management.
Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop solutions.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee engineering projects and studies.
Supervise and train engineering staff.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and reports.
Ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
Liaise with developers, contractors, and the public.
Administer contracts and resolve field issues.
Review and approve engineering designs and plans.
Coordinate activities with other departments and agencies.
Conduct special engineering studies and prepare reports.
Serve as a technical expert to various commissions and boards.
