Your Role as Assistant Director of Clinical Services:
In this vital leadership role, you will help drive the clinical excellence of our programs across the southeast region of New York State, ensuring our mission, vision, and values guide every decision and interaction. You’ll oversee a dedicated team of Clinicians, foster an environment of growth and support, and directly shape our clinical strategies for positive, lasting change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: With the support of the Director of Clinical Services, you will oversee all clinical services in your region, guiding a team of up to 7 Clinicians in delivering high- quality care aligned with treatment goals, agency policy, and state mandates.
- Supervision: Mentor clinical staff, ensure utilization and productivity of services and resources, review assessments and reports, and provide support and clinical supervision to Clinicians working toward LCSW or LMHC licensure.
- Staff Development: Conduct training, support professional development, evaluate performance, and assist with recruitment and hiring in collaboration with HR.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure children and families receive high quality clinical services at frequencies consistent with treatment goals, State mandates, regulatory agencies and Agency policy.
- Administrative Oversight: Participate in agency collaboration and stakeholder meetings. Provide on-call support as required.
What You’ll Bring:
- Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) REQUIRED.
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of counseling/mental health experience with children/families; and 2+ years in a managerial/supervisory role preferred.
- Skills: Strong decision-making, organizational, and communication abilities, with excellent attention to detail and sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Flexibility: Hybrid work structure supporting work-life balance! Work onsite in our Middletown office 1-2 days per week. Occasional statewide travel to regional offices (including Poughkeepsie and Long Island) as needed. Travel will be reimbursed.
