Our dynamic firm is seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our team and contribute to our growing caseload of personal injury cases. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a senior attorney on each assigned case, taking on key responsibilities that range from drafting legal documents to performing in-depth legal research. While many cases may be resolved through settlement, we are searching for an attorney who is prepared to aggressively advocate for our clients in court when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and other case-related materials
  • Assist with the discovery process, including conducting depositions and reviewing documents
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
  • Perform thorough legal research to support case strategies
  • Represent clients in court as needed
  • Conduct initial and follow-up consultations with clients to gather case details and provide legal counsel

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in New York
  • A minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in plaintiff’s personal injury
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Keen attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience
