Position Overview

The Director of Clinical Services is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the behavioral health services for youth and families being served in our communities through our foster care, preventive, QI, and other programs. This position ensures the clinical excellence, compliance, and strategic direction of the agency’s Behavioral Health Program, directly impacting the quality of care and client outcomes.


Family Friendly Flexibility: Hybrid work structure (in office 1 day per week). Remote work structure up to 4 days per week, with regional travel as needed. Travel will be reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy: Define and lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the Behavioral Health Program. Drive program development and maintain a high standard of service delivery. Oversee utilization and productivity, ensuring the effective use of resources and positive client outcomes.
  • Quality & Compliance: Monitor service delivery to ensure alignment with 29i regulations and agency policies. Implement strategies to improve outcomes and enhance service consistency, ensuring compliance with all County, State, Federal, and Agency regulations.
  • Staff Supervision & Development: Directly supervise a team of 4 Assistant Directors (LCSWs), with indirect reporting of up to 24 Licensed Clinicians (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, and Limited Permit holders). Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Training & Education: Collaborate with the leadership teams to design and implement training, enhance services, and drive program expansion.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen program impact and community presence.

Qualifications

  • LCSW Required
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years working with children and families, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Skills: Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities. Must be adept at working cross-functionally and liaising with diverse stakeholders.
