Position Summary:
- Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging activities to maintain high-quality patient care
Responsible for Departmental Goals:
- Patients (Department Service, Patient Satisfaction, Quality Improvement)
- People (Employee Development, Training, Recognition, Satisfaction, Retention & Recruitment)
- Future (Budget, Cost Management, Revenue, New Service Development)
- Community (Participation)
- Participate in Operational and Strategic Planning as part of the management team
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (DHS, TJC, and others)
- Collaborate with others to meet goals and solve problems
- Assume 24-hour responsibility for the department
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiographic Technology
- Minimum of five years’ management experience
- Minimum of three years’ Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging experience (prefer hospital experience)
- Current Radiologic Technologist with ARRT Licensure
- Current California Radiographic Technology (CRT) Licensure
